I actually wasn't aware about this. A friend of mine (self proclaimed photographer) posted this on facebook, and I was under the impression she made this picture herself.

Of course, it's still a shameless karmasteal, but on the other hand: it hit me like no other picture, and I really wanted to share it with Reddit. (she doesn't even know about this site)

Any of the EOS line of cameras in the last few years are VERY solid. But the key is processing. I find adobe Lightroom is an inexpensive and very powerful software package for doing it.
