How to get multiple cats to pose for a picture. That's tough.

yeah, I've seen all of those photos before but never realized they were all the same cats. Someone has got those cats well trained to sit still.

"herding cats" can be done apparently. I'll have to stop saying that now.

There goes my favourite expression too: Organizing artists used to be like herding cats just isn't the same.

I too like to order them by distance from the ground.

As cute as it is, I couldn't imagine owning 7 cats. I ended up with 4 cats at one point and it was awful. So much work cleaning litter, and if you didn't keep up the smell became horrible very quickly.

I hear ya. We had a nice little family, on the one human/one cat model, until we had to move suddenly while in the midst of finding homes for a bunch of formerly feral kittens. After handing off a half-dozen or so, we wound up moving with the last four -- never made a conscious decision to keep them, just kept half-heartedly advertising them. It was great fun while they were kittens. The Gang of Four are now four years old, and we still have the two elders. It's a damn zoo. So take the lesson, y'all: one human/one cat. Hold the line!

What about three humans, three cats?

What about three humans, three cats?

A perfect extrapolation of the principle!

Do they believe that one of the three humans "belongs" to each of them? That was where things started to go downhill with us: arguments among the cats about who had first claim on this lap or that sleeping person. With six cats angling to sleep on two humans, it can get hard to move. In the end, they all decided to get along, but if one of us falls asleep on the couch, it's not unusual to wake up under about 40 pounds of cat!

When I had four cats I had two litter boxes. Yes we still had to clean them very often for the smell, but a combination of wood-chip litter, baking soda, and multiple boxes made it almost bearable.

Awesome pics! So cute :-) I can't believe someone at the site said they thought the cats were drugged. Some people are idiots.
