They're not going to be incredibly social like a dog or a cat. They don't really seek out human interaction (unless it involves food) or affection. Mine are pretty well socialized so they aren't afraid of people, they just prefer to do their own thing (primarily eating, running around, and sleeping). That being said, I really like them because they're adorable, and fairly low maintenance.
